Ordered this to work on core strength for lower back porblems. The accompanying DVD is not that useful – exercises are done too qickly to follow along, but good for demonstration purposes. I am 5’9″ and this ball (65cm) is actually a little too big for me (although I ordered according to guidelines). It is a little difficult to fill to correct size b/c there is no included measuring band and the hand-pump is a little tedious. But I like the ball and ordered a book to accompany for exercise guidance

I’m very happy with this fitness ball. The texture is nice, not smooth and squeaky but rather it has a bit of a skin-like(?) texture making it easy to grip. I ordered the plum 55cm and had no trouble inflating it with the hand-pump included. No odor to the ball and not greasy.

Integrity is a very important virtue to me, and Natural Fitness has it, from my viewpoint. Not only did they respond quickly when I had a question about the ball, but replaced it just as quickly when it proved to have a bit of a defect. They appear to have a genuine care and concern for the environment, using care to not incorporate known contaminants in their products, plus they seem committed to provide funding to plant a tree for every product sold. Very nice product, very good company.

I’ve used this for several work-outs. The pump that comes with it did a good job with inflating the ball. I laid it on a yardstick to get it to the recommended diameter. I did not get the DVD with the ball. However, I use ball workouts on Exercise TV, and Fit TV (Tape the All Star Work-outs)

I’m using the ball for an office chair and it’s great! my back has improved a good bit.

I purchased the Natural Fitness 75cm fitness ball to replace the 75cm TKO ball that I had to return because it was in fact only around the 55cm mark.

Guess what? This one (also manufactured in China) is also short of the mark.

Fully pumped and tight as a drum I can get it to around 68cm. As I’m using it as a work seat the height really is a big deal, and because of some ongoing injury problems I really have to be sure that it works for me. The TKO was a bit of a disaster in that regard.

HOWEVER, this ball turns out to work quite well for a 176cm or around 5’9″ reasonably slim woman.

It has a nice texture, slightly rubbery, and not at all slimy or ‘peeling’ as I saw in one review. They must have made some improvements which is great to know.

It also doesn’t seem to attract fibres and dust. A huge plus in my opinion.

The colour, for those like me who find that to be really important, is just slightly lighter than how it appeared on my screen and has an almost pearlized effect. I would have preferred it to be darker, but I find it an easy to live with colour.

Overall I’m pretty happy with it so far (just 2 days) but as I mentioned in my review for the TKO, SOMEONE PLEASE SEND A CORRECT METRIC MEASURE TO CHINA!

I have to order from Europe which means the shipping costs are not a lot of fun, so correct product descriptions are more than appreciated.

I use this ball as my office chair. I was thinking I would switch off between my regular chair and the ball, but once I got on the ball, I haven’t switched back. Not even once. It’s fun to sit on a ball rather than a boring old chair. Plus, with a ball, you can bounce! I also do sit ups on it by pulling myself under my desk a couple times a day. It’s nice to have a tiny workout any time I want. If I’m bored with something or sleepy, I just do a few sit ups, or bounce and I’m alert again. I’ve found that the ball is also a great way to crack my lower back – which feels great.

Even though there is a professional version of this ball, the only difference I can see is that it didn’t come with a measuring tape like the ones my coworkers got with their professional balls. I also really like the texture of the material much better than the rubbery stuff some balls are made of. This one is also healthier for me and the earth- and the company plants a tree!

I would most definitely recommend it and would buy it again myself.

I love the texture of the ball… it’s slightly bumpy/rough-ish, not shiny or slippery and the colour is darker than I thought it would be, but I still love it. I use the ball as my office chair, like so many others are doing, and within the first few minutes my back was less achy and I was suddenly more alert. I am curious as to how much better the balls are inside the ball bases/stands that convert the ball to look more like a chair, but honestly, I think the ball does fine on it’s own. It’s also great for those boring moments at work when things are going slowly… I just start a little bounce and it puts a spring in my sit ;-) .

I haven’t had any problems with the ball deflating, but when I first pumped it up I thought it was surprisingly small… but that was because I didn’t realise I could pump pump pump until it was larger (despite the “burst resistant” name, I was concerned that I would pump it too full of air and it would pop once I sat on it).

I highly recommend this ball to anyone who loves purple or wants to try out a ball for an office chair!
